Brambleton Weekly Update for 9/21/09 to 9/27/09

Introduction

It was a quiet week with no homes closings. There's tons of homes closing next week so we'll get a lot of insight into the market. Back to weekly update.


As of today 9/28/2009, there are 29 active listings (+2) in MLS and 18 homes (-1) under contract in last 30 days. This gives us an absorption rate of 1.6 which is worse than last's week's record low of 1.4.

Here's the breakdown of the active listings:

20 New Constructions (+1) , 4 Traditional Resales (-2), 2 Foreclosure (+1) and 3 Short Sales (+2).
